Turn off blue light on SpaceNavigator

Hi all,

Hopefully this will have a elementary answer. I am trying to turn off the blueish light on my infinite navigator. It is very bright and distracting. Delight let me know how to practise this! Thank you!

Jeff

thanks Fred, that was equally I expected, easy! Confusing that it isn't in the main settings area though.

In the older drivers it used to be in the principal control panel.
Information technology was moved to the icon for easy access forth with the power to toggle the Log file on and off and calibrate the device.

Is there anyhow to keep the LED off? I toggle the LED command, and it does aught until I run the scale tool.

This would be fine except I have to click through seven buttons every fourth dimension I start my machine to plough off the low-cal.
(evidence notification tray > correct click navigator > Disable LED > show notification tray > correct click navigator > Calibrate > OK on popular-upward window)

Are you using the electric current driver?
If not remove the driver download the electric current i

The LEd should stay off after you have unchecked information technology.
2d you should not have to perform a manual calibration it automatically does ane when the system is booted.
If yours is non staying off i would first clear the Saved profiles:
http://world wide web.3dconnexion.com/faq/1100
Restart subsequently removing the files turn off the LED.
Restart and meet if they stay off.
The lights may come on after restarting due to the Automobile calibrate and flicker afterward they should stay off.
If non attempt a clean install

Following upwardly:

Neither suggestion worked.
- Stopped service, renaming specified folders, and restarting > Aforementioned Behavior
- Uninstalled, deleted specified folders, installed latest version > Same Behavior

I see that the activity on this page is from 2014.
I have started using my 2017 SpaceNavigator on Windows 10. Is in that location a style to turn off the blue LED ring as at that place is in MacOS?
- Thanks

Solved - there is no system tray icon in Windows x Tablet manner. Switching to desktop reveals it.
